Frequently Asked Questions
Does SLLA carry dangerous goods?
Yes. Silver Line Logistics carries Dangerous Goods in “packaged” form, but not in “Bulk” receptacles.
We carry all classes except Radioactive (Class 7) and Explosive (Class 1) consignments.
Do we have hotshot services?
Yes. SLLA does offer hotshot services. As they vary in type and location, please reach out to our sales team via the ‘contact us’ page to discuss options.
Can we manage project work?
Yes. SLLA does manage project work from concert set up, to building sites. Please reach out to our sales team via the ‘contact us’ page to discuss options.
Do we have storage facilities?
Yes. SLLA do have storage facilities in both Victoria and Western Australia.
Is our warehouse facility AQIS certified & approved?
Yes. SLLA have a certified AQIS warehouse based in Altona North, Victoria. We can handle both seals intact inspections, as well as unpack inspections for all import/export freight.
Does SLLA offer insurance?
No – please refer to our T&C’s. SLLA is not a common carrier and does not provide insurance.
Please refer to your own insurer for Marine Transport Insurance.
Does SLLA service private residences?
Unfortunately we do not delivery to private residences. However, depot collection/drop-off can be arranged from/to either our WA or VIC warehouses.
